NLE Choppa showed he goes way back with Rick Ross in new Instagram photos.

NLE Choppa released his Cottonwood 2 mixtape back in April. The project featured guests like Lil Wayne, Fivio Foreign, Kevin Gates, Polo G, and more. Now the closing track "Cold Game" which featured Rick Ross has gotten its own music video. Choppa also had the perfect way to announce the release of the video on Instagram. He had some "now vs. then" pictures ready to go. In the post, he contrasts a picture of the pair taken years ago when Choppa was just a kid and contrasts it with a recent image of the two to great results.

Fans rushed to the comments to shout out Choppa, the song, and the accompanying video. The caption of the post reads "How It Started Vs How It’s Going 'COLD GAME' VIDEO OUT NOW." The video itself hasn't even been out for a full day yet and already has over 100k views. "Cold Game" is the second song from the record to get a new video since it dropped. Just a few weeks ago Choppa dropped the video for "Champions" which has since been watched over 2 million times.

NLE Choppa and Rick Ross' Throwback

Last week a basketball court that NLE Choppa donated to his Memphis community was reportedly damaged by a fire. Just two weeks after the space was opened it sustained significant damage in a fire. The Memphis Fire Department believes that the fire was caused accidentally by mishandled fireworks.

In other news, NLE Choppa and Latto are expected to play guest roles in the final season of Grown-ish. They join a star-studded roster of guests that includes Lil Yachty, Anderson. Paak, and Kelly Rowland. Earlier this year NLE Choppa joined a wide-ranging cast of collaborators for the song "Angel Pt.1" from the Fast X soundtrack. The song is a collaboration between Choppa, Kodak Black, BTS member Jimin, pop singer JVKE, and Muni Long.
