Amidst his ongoing legal troubles, it appears that Jonathan Majors is getting back into the dating game. TMZ reported that Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good were in the early stages of a new relationship. According to a witness, the pair were spotted at the Alamo Drafthouse in Los Angeles last weekend.
The initial reaction to the news was fairly cool, with a number of people seeing it as nothing more than a PR move. “Meghan [sic], get out. He’s using you to get black women on his side,” one commentator wrote on TMZ‘s Instagram post. “I don’t think she can clean this up for him. He trying to get the black votes back, once he’s famous again, he will leave her,” theorizes another. Majors is facing numerous charges in relation to allegations stemming from his ex-girlfriend. Majors denies the charges but is expected back in court in June.
Social Media Largely Mocks Rumors
As the news spread, more and more fans dogpiled on the rumored couple. Common rhetoric is that Majors is suddenly dating Black women after very publicly dating a number of white women. "so now that Jonathan Majors got pending criminal charges for choking a bitch out he’s good enough for a sister?? smh," wrote on Twitter user. "Jonathan Majors going back to the ancestors after the Milk allegations trying to put him back into slavery?? Welp!!" added another.
Furthermore, there is a wide range of messages expressing a variety of opinions. "Last week, y'all tried to unalive Jamie Foxx...... I'M NOT BELIEVING A WORD Y'ALL HAVE TO SAY ABOUT JONATHAN MAJORS AND MEAGAN GOOD." remarked on Twitter user. "I believe the Jonathan Majors Megan Good tea. Someone quietly spilled that about a week ago but didn’t mention her by name as the woman he was spotted with. Clearly a move to pander to a specific audience tho," someone else added. It's clear that fans are not supportive of this relationship for the most part.
