Next week will mark eight years since the untimely passing of Chinx. The late Rockaway Riot Squad member’s legacy continues to live on, and fortunately, he left behind enough music to hold fans down. Back in December, his estate unveiled the sixth installment of the Cocaine Riot series. Laced with 12 songs in total with appearances from Benny The Butcher, Offset, and more, it was a firm reminder of Chinx’s potential to become an even bigger artist than he already was and his innate ability to speak directly to the streets.

Today, the estate of Chinx unveiled the latest installment in the Cocaine Riot series. His latest project also boasts a strong 12-songs with some solid collaborations. Of course, French Montana helps kick off the project on “Candy Rain” alongside Lil Crody. Meanwhile, Offset clocks his second collab with Chinx on “Young N***a,” which truly feels like something that could’ve come out of Migos’ early mixtapes. Additionally, the project includes appearances from Jim Jones, Zack, Meetsims, and Gutta Millz.

In a statement surrounding the album, Chinx’s manager Douglas “Biggs” Ellison detailed the rapper’s work ethic throughout the years. “Each time we sit down to do a project, I can't believe how much work was put in to achieve his ultimate goal of releasing the first album. After eight years we have not only released the first album but keep delivering current timeless gems to the people. CR7 is no different, it's pure and unadulterated Chinx speaking to the fans! I'm so glad that he can continue to live through the music. Cutting through the noise. What an accomplishment” Biggs said.

Over the years, Chinx’s estate has delivered an enormous amount of music to his hungry fanbase. His project, Welcome To JFK, arrived months after his passing in August 2015. Since then, fans have been treated to projects like Legends Never Die and now, the two latest installments in his iconic mixtape series. Check out Chinx’s new album above.
