<p>Timeless singer and actress Cher is making headlines once again, but this time it&#8217;s not <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/641608-cher-ae-edwards-making-music-together-singer-says-two-albums-are-coming" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">for her music</a> or film career. Reports are surfacing that the 76-year-old star is spending a substantial amount of her fortune on her new 37-year-old fiancé. Her new beau is AE, also known as Alexander Edwards. He is a music executive, producer, and father to one of <a href="/profile/amber-rose" class="text-word" target="_blank" >Amber Rose</a>&#8217;s two children. Cher and AE met during the Paris Fashion Week in September 2022. Since then the pair have been seen hanging out together, holding hands, and finally becoming an item. </p>



<p>When Cher and AE were first dating, their romance accumulated <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/636123-cher-at-war-with-sons-who-disapprove-of-fiance-a-e-edwards" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">a lot of criticism</a>. Age gaps are notorious for sparking criticism among fans, especially with an age gap so large. However, Cher remains undismayed and happy with her romance with the music exec. She is not unaware of their age gap, or how people view them. But she can&#8217;t help but seem to glow whenever she gets the chance to talk about Alexander. Cher&#8217;s inner circle, however, are expressing their concern. </p>

<p>Among the first to speak up about their concerns have been Cher&#8217;s children. Both of Cher&#8217;s sons are older than her current fiancé, which naturally raised some eyebrows. Her kids worry that AE may be a gold digger in disguise. This sentiment is shared by many of Cher&#8217;s close circle, as they report that the singer was typically very careful with her money prior to meeting AE. Since they started dating, however, it seems that her spending habits have become a bit reckless. </p>



<p>Cher has a $360 million dollar fortune, which is more money than most people can hope to see. While it is natural to want to spend money on loved ones, her friends and family believe that she is taking it too far. However, Cher remains adamant that things are <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/623249-cher-ae-edwards-say-engaged-life-is-going-well" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">going well for the pair</a>. There are no plans so far for the couple to split as the two plan their future and careers together.
