Lil Uzi Vert shared some new music from his upcoming Luv Is Rage 2 project in an Instagram video last week. While fans were very excited to hear a snippet of what the rapper has been working on, some of his fellow peers felt the need to make it known that their music was better. And what better way to do that then to throw shade in the comments of the video?
It all started when Uzi posted the following video clip and Lil Yachty commented back with a jab hidden behind a partial compliment.
Uzi quickly replied to Yachty's comment by calling the rapper "slow" and challenging Lil Boat to drop his album so that he can "Destroy that shit."
Next thing we know, Rich The Kid chimes in alleging that music from either of the artists could not stand up to his. Additionally, Ugly God comes out of nowhere to remind all of the rappers that no matter how good they think they are, none of their music is better than Soulja Boy's King Soulja 6.
While the seriousness of any of these rappers comments are highly questionable, it really does get one thinking about who actually makes better music. To add even more uncertainty to the situation, A$AP Rocky just recently compared Lil Uzi Vert to Lil Wayne, Rich The Kid just secured high profile collaborations with KiD CuDi and Kendrick Lamar, and Lil Yachty has been making major moves outside of the rap arena with his recent announcement of his creative position with Nautica. While it's safe to say that all of these guys are doing their thing, the real question of who is a better artist is still largely unanswered.
