Given how easy they are to put together, it’s really a shame we don’t have more cyphers in hip hop these days. Complex is trying to remedy that by pairing rappers and musicians from a city to create a new type of cypher that incorporates live instrumentation.

They spit over the smooth instrumentation led by Grammy nominated musician Christian Scott. The beat switches up for each emcee, and we are definitely feeling the vibe.
