"Down in the DM" has been one of the biggest rap songs of the past couple of months -- and certainly the biggest of Yo Gotti's career. Earlier today, the CMG boss unveiled the official remix, which was done justice with a couple of thirst-trapping verses from Nicki Minaj, and now it's time for the official video.
Being such a crossover hit -- and one that's so relevant to multiple social media platforms -- you knew that Gotti would come through with something special for the music video. The site of the new video is one of Gotti's friend's weddings, though most of the guests are more focused on their DMs than on any spectacle of true love. A particularly spicy DM threatens to send the groom back into bachelor life, before DJ Khaled comes to the rescue.
Additional cameos come from Cee-Lo Green, Machine Gun Kelly, Slim Jxxmi of Rae Sremmurd, and YG. No Angela Simmons, unfortunately.
