Tink stops by the Breakfast Club to talk her influences, relationship with Timbaland, and future projects.

At 19-years-old, there are huge expectations surrounding Tink, especially as Timbaland, her mentor, has said that Aaliyah (in a dream) told him she was "the one". With all that hype, the Chicago emcee boasts a cool demeanor and doesn't seem at all fazed by the pressure. Today, she stopped by the Breakfast Club to talk about her come-up and why she's gonna be around for a long time.

Surprisingly, Tink got her start in the drill scene, with Chief Keef retweeting a remix she'd done of his "3Hunna". Since, though, she's started using her medium as a message, showing young Chicago artists that their music can go way deeper than violence and aggression. She also explains how the media likes to pit female hip-hop artists against one another, and how, to her, Timbaland is way more than an industry connection--the two have established a foundation that's built to last.

Watch the interview, and let us know how you foresee Tink's longevity in the game.
