Roland Collins is out August 12th.

We were already expecting projects from Rae Sremmurd and PartyNextDoor this Friday, and now Troy Ave has further crowded the August 12th release day with the announcement of his upcoming album, Roland Collins. Fans will already know that the title is the rapper's first name, and will be his first official LP since the shooting incident at Irving Plaza that left him behind bars earlier this year.

The project will be available on iTunes, but it's unclear whether it will have a physical release. This comes shortly after news that the Brooklyn rapper is suing Irving Plaza for what he claims was "poor security" provided at the event that left his friend dead

The rapper's Free Troy Ave project, released in June, found the rapper addressing the Irving Plaza incident on a track. We'll have to wait and see if he continues to weigh in on the events on the new material.
