B.o.B has definitely gotten a little paranoid recently. You can hear it in the lyrics on his last mixtape FIRE (False Idols Ruin Egos), but you can hear it even more when he tries to prove the Earth is flat on Twitter.
Thankfully the world’s most awesome wet blanket, Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, came through B.o.B’s Twitter timeline to set the record this straight. In this case, his penchant for bursting people’s bubbles is much needed.
The “Cosmos” host disproved a few of the tweets, and also pointed out that that B.o.B is free to believe whatever he wants, saying "no law stops you from regressively basking in [flat earth theory]." The celebrity astrophysicist wasn’t all negativity, however. He also reminded B.o.B that his music is still good, even if his grasp on science and physics isn’t. The No Genre label head eventually responded to some of Tyson's tweets, but Tyson hasn't responded.
B.o.B is still tweeting about the Earth being flat, and at this point its difficult to discern who is legitimately agreeing with him and who is being ironic. He is asking for people to prove it with math now, which is a good start.
