Mike Dean says he's going to be executive producing Desiigner's upcoming debut album.

With the #1 song in the country right now, Desiigner fans are eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming debut album, and thankfully we now have some further insight into it.

In a new interview with Billboard, long-time Kanye West collaborator & producer Mike Dean revealed that he’ll be executive producing the G.O.O.D Music’s signee’s debut album, along with Travis Scott’s as well.

“I’m doing Travis’ album, I’m executive producing Desiigner’s album…”

Speaking about working with Desiigner, Mike Dean says he’s a lot more of an artist that you think and that he really does sound like he has auto-tune on his voice in real life, aka Future

“He’s a lot more of an artist than you think he is. He’s not just some Future knockoff. He talks like that -- he sounds like he’s got Auto-Tune on his voice in real life. He talks like Future raps, which is weird.”

"I don’t know where he got his music influence. Just like that old shit that I had, the shit with A$AP Rocky and Yams and all that shit. Like Yams said they grew up on that music on the Internet. Me and Plain Pat were talking about Desiigner. To older people, listening to music is like soul music or old rock music. To Desiigner though [what’s out now] is all the music he knows."

While we wait for Desiigner's next single to arrive, check out a snippet of what Dean and Desiigner have been working on in the studio below, plus a second one with Russ after that. They both go dumb hard too.
