Smoove'L makes a loud introduction with his major-label debut mixtape "Boy From Brooklyn."

19-year-old rapper Smoove'L is just a regular boy from Brooklyn. He's been bubbling for a minute, making his own wave and contributing to a sound that is becoming representative of his city. Brooklyn didn't invent drill but the city is embracing the vibe fully, taking it further and Smoove'L is one of the artists at the forefront of that movement.

His 11-track mixtape Boy From Brooklyn deals mostly with relationships, including on the intro track "Facetime." Smoove'L is a breath of fresh air, offering a different look on drill and opening so many new eyes over the last year. The Bed-Stuy representative is a current contender for the 2020 XXL Freshman Class and this will surely put him steps above the competition for that spot.
