Though it might be a bit too early for #ThrowBackThursday, rapper Drake decided to share a humorous post on his Instagram page that brought a lot of us way back. The Canadian singer and rapper took it to social media to share a major throwback photo starring Bow Wow, Soulja Boy, Trey Songz and himself. Herein, the rapper quoted the hilarious caption "Waiting for her to reply on MSN messenger like..." and motioned his 56.4 million followers through the road of bittersweet nostalgia.
Before texting became a thing. MSN messenger used to be the go-to platform to chat with friends and relatives for most millennials (born between the late 1980s to the early 2000s). The platform's instant chatting properties allowed us to keep in touch with our loved ones all over the world, indeed, but the latter also played an essential role through our formative years as the perfect medium to flirt with potential crushes and love interests. As such, Drake's caption resonates with many and so despite the earlier mentioned messaging system having been discontinued from Windows in 2013.
