This year, KR had his big break when he was cast in SuperFly, opening a lot of eyes to his talent as an actor and rapper. The Los Angeles entertainer landed himself in some serious trouble as he's currently being investigated for a series of sexual assault allegations that were made against him.
It's being reported by XXL that KR, real name Kaalan Walker, is facing a total of nine felony charges for sexual assault. The 23-year-old was reportedly taken into police custody on September 11 for his connection to several rapes that date back to 2016. After that, he was released and arrested again on September 26. He's been in custody since then. KR is being accused by multiple women who say he raped them while they were alone together. Apparently, the majority of the women were "aspiring models" he would find on social media, telling them he could help their careers take off.
Obviously, these accusations are extremely serious. KR released his album In Due Time this summer and was in the Superfly remake. XXL writes that his musical and acting career is up in the air with the allegations making their way out. He is reportedly being held on over $1 million bail.
