KR is fresh off the buzz from Superfly and back on his musical grind after sharing his acting chops. The Los Angeles-bred artist came through with the third preview of his latest project entitled In Due Time, earlier this month. "Pop Out" bumps heavy and meshes with a wide range of moods on the record.
KR revealed his intentions for his most recent offering:
“I wanted to make a record that was void of fear,” he admits. “In the beginning, I made music that was good but full of fear of myself, people listening or just what people thought I should be doing. This record came together from a place of calm and if you listen closely I’m the surest I’ve been in my career thus far and I wanted the video to reflect that. This is really an anthem for anyone who needs that extra confidence or friend to be like ‘Talk that Shit…’”
Even though KR has been in the game for close to a decade, it seems like the rapper is only now getting started.
