<p>While he was alive, XXXTentacion spoke often about death. Much of his music centred on the inevitability of his demise as he seemingly predicted he would be gone soon. We&#8217;ve heard a good chunk of his music and while some of it sounds unfinished, it&#8217;s still nice to hear what he was working on prior to his murder. He clearly had a lot of music in the vault because now, he&#8217;s popping up for a few posthumous features. X was a special guest on the <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/spider-man-into-the-spider-verse-ost-drops-with-nicki-minaj-jaden-smith-and-more-new-mixtape.118734.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"><em>Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse</em> soundtrack</a> as he guested on a song by <a href="/profile/LilWayne" class="text-word" target="_blank" >Lil Wayne</a> and <a href="/profile/TyDollaSign" class="text-word" target="_blank" >Ty Dolla $ign</a>. His fans have started to point out how eerie some of his lyrics are in &#8220;<a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/lil-wayne-ty-dolla-sign-and-xxxtentacion-are-not-scared-of-the-dark-new-song.1981402.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Scared of the Dark</a>,&#8221; especially considering it was released after his death.</p>

<p>In the song, XXXTentacion raps, &#8220;If only you count the tears I&#8217;ve cried/ A million times, I swear I&#8217;ve died.&#8221; A few of his verses have referred to death but this particular reference is turning heads. Lil Wayne also speaks about death as he notes that he&#8217;s not afraid of his demise. </p>
<p>According to <a href="https://genius.com/Lil-wayne-and-ty-dolla-sign-scared-of-the-dark-lyrics" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Genius</a>, X&#8217;s vocals were repurposed from his scrapped feature on Bhad Bhabie&#8217;s &#8220;Trust Me.&#8221; Another portion of his verse is from an unreleased song that is yet to be identified.
