Prosecutors have recently released three cellphone videos made by Nikolas Cruz, which succinctly describe his plans to perpetrate the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida; the exact origins of the clips remain unclear.

In the first video, Cruz announces himself as the "next school shooter of 2018," before stating how "his goal is at least 20 people, with an AR-15 and a couple tracer rounds. My location is Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida. It's gonna be a big event." Cruz then goes on to say "when you see me on the news, you will know who I am," as he breaks out into laughter announcing "you're all going to die."

In another video, Cruz proclaims that "today is the day, the day that it all begins, the day my massacre shall begin. All the kids in the school will run in fear and hide. From the wrath of my power they will know who I am." The shooter then notes how he "is nothing, I am no one, my life is nothing is meaningless." He continues to paint a pretty desolate portrait of his psychological state, revealing that he lives in "seclusion and solitude. I hate everyone and everything...I had enough of being told what to do and when to do it. I had enough of being told I'm an idiot and a dumbass," before waxing pessimistic about how society is brainwashed by the government and political programs.
In the third and final video, Cruz details his plan for the shooting, revealing that he will take an Uber in order to get to the school's campus, where he will arrive by 2:40 and "shoot people down at the main courtyard."
