Nicki Minaj has been acting like a sore loser on social media these last 24 hours. Her reasoning doesn't quite make sense though. Although Drake once rapped, "Bein' number two is just being the first to lose," it's hard to call Nicki's 185,000 in first weeks sales a loss. Her numbers are lower than expected for sure, and it was Nicki's lowest first week sales to date. The Queen rapper instigated an argument with DJ Akademiks when he released the news that she would take second place prior to Billboard's official announcement. Their feud culminated in Nicki calling Akademiks information "fake news," with Ak clapping back once it was revealed that he was correct. "I don’t want none of y’all ever to refer to anything I’m associated with as fake news ever again in your life," he tweeted.

Although Nicki is now claiming she was just playing (after dragging Kylie Jenner, Stormi, Drake, and Spotify's names into her rants), Smokepurpp is calling her out for her antics. In a post to social media, Smokepurpp says he has nothing but respect for Nicki, but claims she needs to stop hating on Travis Scott. "Nicki Minaj, you buggin'. You buggin' by saying that Travis Scott is cheating because he's selling clothes and stuff. It's called marketing, my nigga. You're doing the most first week, don't hate on the next man," he stated.
"You said that Billboard was wrong. You probably got it delayed yourself," he continued. "It's no disrespect, I fuck with you. I fuck with your music. You go crazy, but numbers do not lie. You know what I'm saying, numbers don't lie."
