Halsey recently hit up Instagram and showed off her natural curly locks with a cute bathroom mirror selfie. "new growth, new growth; all these fades I outgrew," she captioned the photo. Although she got lots of love from the new look, some haters questioned if it was a wig. In response to the lame comments, Halsey hopped on Twitter with something to say.
“I can’t believe I spent a whole damn year growing out my curls under those wigs for y’all to say my natural hair looks like a wig… some fucked up shit lmao,” she tweeted. One fan tweeted at the "Bad At Love" singer asking if her curls had changed. " Still trying to get everything healthy again," she responded. "I was blonde a few months ago and an inexperienced colorist fried my head 😞 it’s s journey but I reaaaaaallly don’t wanna have to chop again."
This isn' the first time Halsey has discussed her hair routines, the 23-year-old previously blasted hotels for only having "white people shampoo."
"I've been travelling for years now and it's been so frustrating that the hotel toiletry industry entirely alienates people of colour," she tweeted. "I can't use this perfumed watered down white people shampoo. Neither can 50% of ur customers. Annoying."
