Donald Trump takes to Twitter to declare "if the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!"

A recent NY Times Op-Ed piece by an anonymous individual reportedly occupying the role of a Senior Administration Official in the Trump Administration has sparked outrage and fury from President Trump. The author of the piece wrote valiantly of being a part of the "resistance" working towards circumventing some of Trump's most threating actions "from within." Shortly after the piece's publication, writers, politicians, and spectators alike were plunged into speculation of the author's identity, and further questions concerning the stability of the Trump administration were raised.

The anonymous author's words captured notions of reshaping the current American political landscape and regaining a version of democracy that they evidently believe Trump endangers: "Many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve our democratic institutions while thwarting Mr. Trump's more misguided impulses until he is out of office," they wrote. "We fully recognize what is happening. And we are trying to do what's right even when Donald Trump won't," the author continued.

Reports claim that upon reading the piece, Trump called a gathering of his closest confidants to express his concerns regarding the disloyalty and conspiracy that have plagued his presidency. In true Trump fashion, 45 took to Twitter to share his views on the scathing piece: "The Deep State and the Left, and their vehicle, the Fake News Media, are going Crazy - & they don't know what to do," he wrote. He continued to pose the question: "Does the so-called “Senior Administration Official” really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source?"

Amidst all the uncertainty, one thing remains abundantly clear: there is no set of twitter fingers that rival those of President Donald Trump.
