50 Cent weighs in on the battle the started the Summer.

The tension between Pusha T and the most prominent members of Cash Money/Young Money (Drake, Birdman, Lil' Wayne) was building for years before "Infrared" was released. None the less, that track was the catalyst for one of the most entertaining rap battles in the last several years. Drake responded with "Duppy Freestyle," which prompted Pusha T strike back with "The Story of Adidon." Although rumors of Drake's child with Sophie Brussaux had been floating around on gossip blogs previous to the devastating diss track dropping, Pusha T disseminated that information on a much larger scale. Now that the beef seems to be over, or at least on hiatus, 50 Cent has weighed in on who he thinks the winner is.

50 sat down to do an interview with Whoolywood Shuffle, and he spoke briefly about who he thinks the winner is, and why. “Pusha T was dead in pocket on that because he offered information to the public before that they didn’t know that was real,” 50 stated. “When that happens, they go, ‘Wait.' They heard the line like, 'That was true?’ People's interest in Drake is what made the line so good. It became as important as he was to the actual culture at that point, because these are true statements.” The G-Unit creator continued on to claim that Drake taking an L in the beef may affect the perception of his future music. 50 thinks that Drizzy "can make a song that sounds like God wrote it," but because of the loss to Pusha, he feels that people would discredit it regardless. Check out the interview below (Drake/Pusha T conversation starts around the 11:00 mark)
