The news was announced by Chart Data, an account run by music insiders who have access to sales calculations. As one of the leaders of the new wave, X had so much untapped potential and we may never hear what exactly he was working on. At the time of his passing, the recording artist was working on two albums: Skins and Bad Vibes Forever. The plans for a posthumous release are currently unclear but it's likely that the singer's estate will control the destiny of his unfinished work.
We've already heard a posthumous verse from XXXTentacion on Trippie Redd's "Ghost Busters." Over a month since his passing, it's still RIP X.
