If you're looking for praise from one of the industry's biggest rap titans, you could do a whole lot worse than Gucci Mane. Releasing multiple LPs in 2017, the most recent being El Gato The Human Glacier, Guwop has been one of the most prolific and successful emcees of the past year. Now, after Culture II became the first really hyped project to be dropped in 2018, one rapper, in particular, has caught Gucci's ear.
Posting to his official Instagram account, Gucci Mane has singled out Takeoff has his favorite rapper of the moment, following his incredible work on the Migos' new album. "Culture 2 out @yrntakeoff my fav rapper now!!!" exclaimed Guwop. His sentiments were echoed by a large portion of the Internet as well, with many social media pointing to the lesser-known of the three men in Migos as the emcee who did the best work on Culture II. While your mileage may vary on that assessment, Gucci's love for Takeoff's work cannot be denied after this post. Check it out in full below.

Gucci Mane might also be trying to better the life of another rapper he admires, Lil Pump. After Pump captioned an Instagram post with, "F**k it imma sign Lil Pump to lil pump," Gucci Mane was ready and waiting with a comment under the photo. He wrote, "1017 u name the price." There's no word as of yet whether or not Gucci or Pump has followed through on signing a deal, but the rumored price tag that the latter is looking for is somewhere in the $8-12 million range.
