Thelonious Martin is surprising fans with a new drop today. The producer uploaded "Guidelines" to his SoundCloud, a laid-back track that boasts Mac Miller as the vocalist. The production's vibe goes along with the melancholic storytelling Mac Miller lays down as he spits about living in the present in spite of misadventures. A boom-bap drum beat serves as an organic foundation for floating keys and Miller's flow. Warmth is added to the mix with a slight simulation of record static. The whole thing is classic.

The pair has already collaborated together in the past. Thelonious Martin hopped on Mac's 2014 album called Wünderkid. His production appears on “Malcolm Interlude” as well as “Her.” Martin also lent his talents to Calez for his Poppa EP. He appears on "Cool," a collaboration that includes Mick Jenkins, Carter Lang, and Alex Wiley. Another one of Thelonious Martin's latest productions comes in the form of "Ball," a loosie by Michael Christmas.
