2 years later, Lil Baby is one of the biggest stars in the world.

Last year, Lil Baby was on the cusp of doing something in the music biz and due in part to a massive Drake co-sign, he's the next to blow up from Quality Control's roster. With signees including Migos, Lil Yachty, and Cardi B, QC is always up to something and Lil Baby was their most recent weapon. Dropping an impressive debut in Harder Than Ever, Baby is turning a lot of people's heads. However, just two years ago, the young rapper was just getting settled back into real life after his release from prison. He reminisced on the day of his release on Instagram, marking a tremendous improvement in his way of life.

As he's grown to become the artist he is today, Baby has encountered some twists and turns along the way. On the anniversary of his release from jail two years ago, the Atlanta rapper posted a celebratory message to himself for keeping out of trouble. Spraying a bottle of champagne, Baby rejoiced, "I came Home From Prison July 1,2016 .... The Rest Is History πŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸ½. #730days." With his signature style developing quite quickly, Lil Baby is ready to continue his fresh string of success.

Recently teasing his collaborative project with Gunna, the two rising rappers could be sitting on a goldmine with their next effort. Lil Baby sat down with us last week in the latest episode of "How To Roll." Check it out, as well as his celebratory post below.
