Chris Brown and Usher have been having a very successful joint tour, but the "R&B" trek has run into some unexpected but heartening turbulence. While the cancelation of various tour dates from October 17 to 31 is unfortunate, at least it's in the best interest of prioritizing the well-being of the touring party and crew, according to the promoter. However, it also comes amid Brown's upcoming court date in London over his guilty plea in a nightclub attack case, so the pause will likely give him more time and energy to attend that properly.
Per Complex, the canceled shows are October 17 in Baltimore, October 24 in Cincinnati, October 29 in South Carolina, and October 31 in Indianapolis. This last show's venue, the Lucas Oil Stadium, had held a social media contest for two free tickets, and they had to send ticket-holders the promoter's explanation for this cancelation and presumably the other ones too.
"Following an extensive run of sold-out stadium shows on one of the year's biggest tours, the event promoter has made the difficult decision to cancel select upcoming dates on the R&B Tour to prioritize the health and well-being of the touring party and crew," the promoter's statement reportedly read. "The demands of a tour of this length and scale are significant, and these adjustments will allow the tour to continue safely and sustainably through the remaining scheduled performances."
Chris Brown and Usher's highly successful concert run continues despite this setback. Most recently in Houston, Breezy brought out Don Toliver as a special guest, as caught by Our Generation Music. The Cactus Jack star performed his new Drake collab "Solar Eclipse."

Chris Brown & Usher's Tour
Brown and Usher still have a lot of shows left despite these cancelations. They have a stacked schedule all the way through December 12, so these cancelations should make the rest of the tour be the best it can be.
Meanwhile, Chris Brown's London affray case over a nightclub attack in 2023 will also get more flexibility due to these cancelations. Instead of scrambling to make it to the United Kingdom and back in time, Brown will have more time to properly prepare for and attend his October 25 hearing.
