The number of hip-hop albums and songs dropping every week is declining as the industry looks to thin out the final quarter.

There isn't going to be an abundance of hip-hop albums dropping over the coming weeks and months. Reports indicate that some albums are being shelved until 2027 as labels look to keep their budgets intact.

Overall, this is not good news for the fans, who very clearly want to hear as much new music as possible. Some feel as though this was a rough year for mainstream hip-hop, and the decline in albums is not going to help matters.

That said, tonight, we are getting new songs from Gunna, Offset, Don Toliver, and even Rick Ross. On the albums side, we are getting Ovrkast. and Pitbull. As you can clearly tell, it's a bit light.
