Complex did not name LUCKI in their statement and did not speak on rumors and allegations claiming the fight was with Playboi Carti's camp.

LUCKI is reportedly recovering steadily after the ComplexCon brawl yesterday (Saturday, October 3) that resulted in him suffering a laceration to his neck. Rumors quickly spread online that Playboi Carti and his camp were responsible, as Carti witnessed the altercation in the parking lot. But nothing has confirmed or supported these rumors officially from either artist's camp or from law enforcement. After a day of speculation, Complex has issued a statement on the matter.

"The safety and security of our guests, talent, partners and staff is our highest priority," the company stated, per journalist Michael Blackshire on Twitter. "We are aware of an incident that occurred outside the ComplexCon event yesterday and our security team and the LAPD responded immediately. We take incidents of this nature extremely seriously and remain focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone attending ComplexCon."

Blackshire also reported at least four people total suffered injures as a result of the fight. TMZ reported three of them were in stable condition and one drove themselves to the hospital. The Los Angeles Police Department is reportedly investigating the situation as attempted murder.

Did LUCKI Get Stabbed?

Authorities also haven't confirmed the nature of LUCKI's neck laceration. Some folks claimed it was a stabbing and others claimed it was a slashing. Multiple alleged sources came forward to provide alleged context to the brawl or updates on the Chicago rapper's condition. His repost of a video with fans at ComplexCon on his IG Story suggests he's recovering well.

As for the rumors about who is responsible, LUCKI and Playboi Carti's earlier beef mixed with Carti's presence and Opium's headlining slots at the event to create rumors and allegations of a fight between both artist's camps that led to the injuries. However, nothing has confirmed this at press time.

Elsewhere, hip-hop is reacting to the LUCKI situation with sympathy, outrage, well-wishes, but also criticism. DJ Akademiks believes he moved foolishly at ComplexCon.

We will see where the LAPD investigation goes and whether or not either camp that allegedly participated in the brawl speaks out. Hopefully LUCKI and the other injured individuals continue to recover well.
