DJ Akademiks was streaming with Trap Lore Ross, and had an interesting theory about Kanye West and Playboi Carti.

Kanye West was at ComplexCon on Sunday, as he explored some of the booths, while eventually performing with Playboi Carti. It was an interesting look for the event, especially after the events on Saturday.

For those who may not be aware, Carti's entourage allegedly got into a fight with LUCKI. LUCKI was stabbed during the altercation and could be seen bleeding from his face. It was a harrowing scene that has led to some strong reactions on social media.

Meanwhile, the LAPD is investigating the incident as an attempted murder. It just goes to show that this entire situation is being taken seriously by the authorities.

That said, DJ Akademiks found it curious that Ye would associate himself alongside Carti over the weekend. In fact, while streaming with Trap Lore Ross, Akademiks floated a theory as to why Ye would be so heavily featured.

“Complex pushed for him to do something with Ye at the convention to change the narrative," Akademiks alleged.

These are interesting comments coming from Akademiks, especially when you consider the fact that the commentator was also at ComplexCon over the weekend. He hosted a panel with French Montana and Adam22, which proved to be successful in its own right.

As for the alleged incident between Carti and LUCKI, Complex has since made a statement.

"The safety and security of our guests, talent, partners and staff is our highest priority. We are aware of an incident that occurred outside the ComplexCon event yesterday and our security team and the LAPD responded immediately. We take incidents of this nature extremely seriously and remain focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone attending ComplexCon."
