As a commentator and interviewer in hip-hop and beyond, DJ Vlad is no stranger to getting into beef with some of his guests and other media figures. Beyond Vlad's conflict with Aries Spears, he also recently feuded with Boosie Badazz (a frequent VladTV guest) and got into it with N.O.R.E. Recently, on his VladTV platform, he chose to make light of a completely unrelated situation by trolling these foes with a satirical story.
The interviewer has been sporting an eye patch as of late, which led to a lot of speculation as to why. He joked about going to Marshall's to shop and getting jumped by N.O.R.E., Spears, and Boosie, and issued "apologies" for each for their feuds. DJ Vlad mocked Aries Spears and suggested he was the one who seemed the most angry in this imaginary scenario.
In addition, DJ Vlad spoke on rumors around N.O.R.E. and also brought up his payment issues with Boosie Badazz. After keeping the act up for about nine minutes in the YouTube video below, he clowned folks for celebrating the fake jumping and explained that the patch is because he just had eye surgery.
DJ Vlad's Beefs
Some folks found this funny, others found it corny, and a few folks took this opportunity to re-litigate these feuds. Vlad went on to disparage these folks some more and made it clear he's not backing his animosity down.
Plenty of folks also questioned why he would go to these lengths in the first place. Content and engagement is the answer, but there also seemed to be an element of combating "police" narratives against him and clapping back at folks who wish for his downfall.
We'll see if Aries Spears, Boosie Badazz, or N.O.R.E. ignore or feed into this fabrication. They could certainly get some more clicks off of it if they chose to engage.
Meanwhile, DJ Vlad has other feuds to handle. He got into it with Yung Bleu recently, although it seems like they have mended that situation. Elsewhere, Vlad has separate issues with Peter Rosenberg and Joyner Lucas that he aired out over the past year.
