DJ Vlad is setting the record straight after Carmen Bryan sued his friend-turned-foe N.O.R.E. for sexual assault. After Vlad and N.O.R.E.’s online spat over the ethics of their respective platforms, Carmen Bryan came forward with allegations of sexual assault against N.O.R.E., which he has since denied. However, Vlad quickly turned these serious allegations into a way of trolling the Drink Champs co-host.
Fans previously theorized jokingly that Vlad helped Carmen Bryan sue N.O.R.E. since she had been on VladTV in the past and that the lawsuit came just as the media personalities exchanged barbs online. Ultimately, Vlad ran with this theory for his channel for a brief second, where he delivered a whole monologue about hiring the best lawyers in the game–Drew Findling, Joe Tacopina, and Bradford Cohen–to create a dream team for Bryan.
“N.O.R.E, this right here is payback because right in the midst of the situation, I hit up Carmen and I said, ‘Yo, you ready to go forward with this lawsuit?’ She said, ‘Yo, I would too, but I don’t have the money, Vlad. This is gonna cost a lot of money,’” he jokingly said before alleging that he gets “50% of whatever comes in after expenses.” He also said that he reached out to JAŸ-Z to help foot the bill for Bryan.
DJ Vlad Addresses Carmen Bryan Relationship
However, he came clean and made it clear that he has no involvement whatsoever and everything he said was completely made up. He then explained that his relationship with Bryan hasn’t been great since he interviewed her nine years ago.
“The interview came out, I haven’t talked to Carmen since. She made no mention of the N.O.R.E. situation during the interview, so there’s that,” he said. “A few years ago, she contacted me and she wanted the interview taken down, and I said no, and she got mad and tried to get it taken down, and she failed.”
He explained that’s basically where things were left between them.
