Despite having a rivalry with the New York Knicks, Tyrese Haliburton is good friends with 50 Cent. Fif has a partnership with the Indiana Pacers, and as a result, the two have become quite close as of late.
So much so that the legendary artist came through for Haliburton in a big way recently. Haliburton was getting married, and he needed someone to perform. In an interview with Speedy Morman, the NBA star revealed that one major artist wanted to charge him $750K. However, Fif was willing to do it for free.
"I was shocked. I was like, 'That's not happening. There's no chance," Haliburton said regarding the artist in question. "I ain't gonna say who was trying to whack me $750,000, but there were a few artists that were trying to go there. There was no chance that was happening."

Haliburton then went on to say that he wanted the 50 Cent performance to be a surprise. It took place at the reception, and only he and his wife Jade Jones knew about it.
"No, he didn’t charge me," Haliburton revealed. "I took care of his accommodations and everything. His love is just, like, that's family. So forever I got his back forever for that."
Ultimately, this just goes to show the lengths that 50 Cent is willing to go for the people that he is close to. If he really wanted to, he could have charged a major fee. Especially knowing Haliburton could afford it. Instead, he did the friendly thing, and it's a memory that everyone at the wedding will remember forever.
