Coi Leray and Latto are not on good terms these days. If you remember, Latto had a bar for Leray on "Put It on Da Floor," rapping, "Smokin' on that gas, blunt big as Coi Leray."
This subsequently led to a feud between the two artists, with all sorts of rumors circulating about their relationship. For instance, there was a narrative that the two had gotten into a fist fight, and that Latto was the winner.
However, Coi Leray has the real story. While appearing on The Jason Lee Show for BET, Leray made it clear that her fist fight was actually with Latto's sister Brooklyn. Things got out of hand, and it eventually came to blows.
"I don't want to be f**ked with," Leray said. "I don't want nobody to say my name. Don't use my name for clickbait and for clout and to create rap beef that I'm not in. [...] One thing led to another. Me and [Latto's sister] Brooklyn fought behind the scenes. It was a whole thing. A whole fistfight. I done refractured my knee and everything...She was defending her sister. Me, I was defending myself."
