Travis Scott and Nike just dropped a surprise "Cactus Court" collection tied to the US Open. It includes the Air Force 1 Low "Ice Blue" and the Zoom Vapor 12, releasing September 4th for $120 and $170 respectively.
The Air Force 1 keeps its build mostly blue, but swaps standard leather for an ostrich-textured material that gives it a totally different feel. It first surfaced through a Nike Sportswear video starring Carlos Alcaraz, who fires tennis balls at a wall as the shoe's design slowly gets revealed underneath.
The Zoom Vapor 12 tells its own story. Alcaraz wore the pair, done up in pale ivory and cacao brown, during his opening US Open match against Roman Safiullin. His entire on-court outfit matched the shoe, right down to a backward Swoosh detail Scott has used across his past Nike work.
Both pairs are available right now at Nike's 47 Chrystie St. pop-up in New York City, running through September 4th. The full collection, including apparel, launches online through Cactus Jack that same day.

This drop lands right alongside a big moment for Alcaraz personally. He returned from a four-month layoff due to a wrist injury, stepping straight back into Grand Slam competition rather than easing in through smaller events.
Nike leaned into that moment by pairing his comeback with Scott's design touch. It marks a shift for the two, who've spent the past couple years mostly building out Scott's own signature sneaker lineup rather than performance footwear like this.
The Zoom Vapor 12 Alcaraz wore on court differs slightly from the retail version too. Nike swaps in a different sole unit for his actual match pairs, keeping his on-court shoe distinct from what fans will eventually buy.
With the pop-up running through the tournament and a wider release already locked in, "Cactus Court" gives Scott's Nike output a rare venture into tennis. If Alcaraz keeps advancing through the draw, expect Nike to lean even harder into the moment before the collection's wider launch.
