DMX's estate has brought back his signature fragrance. Working with Isidore Luxury to reintroduce a project Earl "DMX" Simmons helped build during his lifetime. It's the only product he ever personally endorsed.
The scent opens with melon, pineapple leaf, and pink pepper before settling into lavender and geranium. It finishes on patchouli, suede, and amber woods, giving it a layered, warm profile from start to finish. The 3.4 oz bottle is priced at $149.99, with pre-orders already live through Isidore Luxury's website.
The partnership traces back to a chance meeting between DMX and Isidore founder Durrell Martin at an LA hotel roughly nine months before the fragrance's original December 2020 launch. DMX had mostly worn Burberry before that, but Martin said he gravitated toward Isidore's scent once he tried it. The original release came together fast, built around DMX wanting to be remembered for more than just his music.
In a statement, the DMX Estate called this a way to honor his original vision rather than just a posthumous cash-in. "In honor of Earl's vision and partnership with Isidore during his lifetime, we are proud to reintroduce his signature fragrance to the world," the family said. The caption also reads "Refined. Elevated. Unmistakably X."

Isidore Luxury holds the distinction of being the first Black-owned fragrance house to reach this scale. Martin has said his goal was always to show DMX as more than his rap persona, describing him as a father and a real cologne enthusiast who cared more about people than material things.
Alongside the fragrance's return, DMX is also being honored in Yonkers. The street he grew up on is being renamed Earl DMX Simmons Way. He lived there in Calcagno Homes, between School Street and Brooke Street, before becoming one of hip-hop's most recognizable voices.
DMX died in April 2021 at age 50, and his family has continued finding ways to keep his legacy visible ever since. Between the fragrance's return and this street renaming, 2026 is shaping up as a year built around preserving that part of his story.
