The Air Jordan 11 "Green Screen" release date was moved up to November 14th, landing one day before Space Jam's 30th anniversary.

The Air Jordan 11 "Green Screen" now has a new release date, landing November 14th and retailing for $255. That's two days earlier than the previously reported November 16th date, timed to arrive one day before Space Jam's 30th anniversary.

Green suede covers the entire shoe, upper and midsole included, replacing the model's usual patent leather and mesh build. It's a bold shift for a silhouette known for that mixed-material look, giving this pair a much more monochrome finish. A translucent, glow-in-the-dark outsole finishes things off underneath, lighting up green once the lights go off.

The design pulls from behind-the-scenes footage of Michael Jordan filming against a literal green screen during Space Jam's production. That concept replaced an earlier rumored colorway, "Space Jam Galaxy," which reportedly won't be getting a public release after all.

Packaging leans hard into the movie tie-in too. Early images show a green box styled like a film clapboard, reading "SJ 30th" across the top, along with Looney Tunes artwork tucked inside.

This marks one of three Air Jordan 11 releases tied to the film's anniversary this year, joining the returning "Space Jam" colorway and its own take on the shoe's most iconic look.

Space Jam first hit theaters back in November 1996, making this year's 30th anniversary a natural moment for Jordan Brand to lean into. "Green Screen" adds a fresh angle to that celebration instead of just repeating the same classic colorway.

Michael Jordan wore early, unreleased versions of both the Air Jordan 9 and Air Jordan 11 throughout the film. Those exclusive pairs have since become some of the most iconic sneakers connected to his entire signature line.

"Green Screen" pulls from a different part of that story, focusing on the film's production rather than what appeared on screen. That behind-the-scenes angle gives longtime fans something new to chase beyond just another "Space Jam" retro.

With the date now moved up and demand already building, this release looks set to be one of the most talked about pairs of the holiday season.
