The Air Jordan 11 "Green Screen" releases November 16th, taking inspiration from the making of Space Jam's 30th anniversary.

The Air Jordan 11 "Green Screen" is set to release November 16th for $255. It's part of Jordan Brand's larger lineup celebrating the 30th anniversary of Space Jam this holiday season.

This colorway pulls inspiration from behind-the-scenes footage of Michael Jordan filming against a green screen during production. Textured green suede covers the entire upper, midsole included, giving the shoe an almost monochrome look from top to bottom. A Jumpman sits on the ankle, with classic "23" branding stitched into the heel.

The standout detail is the outsole, finished in a translucent glow-in-the-dark green that lights up in the dark. It's a playful touch that ties directly into the shoe's Space Jam inspiration without leaning on any actual movie graphics.

Jordan Brand has leaned heavily into behind-the-scenes storytelling with its recent anniversary releases, and this pair continues that trend. Rather than referencing a specific scene or character, "Green Screen" points to the actual filmmaking process that brought the movie's animated world to life.

Pairs will be available through SNKRS and select Jordan Brand NBHD retailers. Given the narrow retailer list and relatively high price point, expect this release to run limited compared to some of Jordan Brand's wider Space Jam offerings this year.

Air Jordan 11 "Green Screen"

The "Green Screen" is one of three Air Jordan 11 releases tied to the film's anniversary this year. The original "Space Jam" colorway is also returning for the first time in a decade, giving fans the more familiar black, white, and royal blue pair alongside this new interpretation.

This release replaced an earlier rumored "Space Jam Galaxy" colorway, which reportedly won't be seeing a public release after all. "Green Screen" ended up taking that release slot instead, shifting focus toward the film's production process rather than a Foamposite-style cosmic design.

The timing lines up almost exactly with the movie's original release. Space Jam first hit theaters in November 1996, making this drop feel like a genuine 30-year callback rather than just a seasonal release.

For collectors already chasing the returning "Space Jam" 11, "Green Screen" offers a completely different way to celebrate the same anniversary.
