Two stops on Kehlani’s current tour are being put on hold after a sudden health issue sent the singer to the hospital and left her unable to perform. Kehlani shared the news with fans on social media Wednesday (August 26), explaining that she had felt normal during scheduled days off before becoming ill overnight. “I’ve been up all night unable to swallow & in so much pain,” she wrote, adding that she had just returned from the hospital and was not medically cleared to sing for the next two shows.
That takes Wednesday’s performance at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, and Thursday’s Washington, D.C.-area stop at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, off the immediate schedule. Kehlani said her team is working on a solution for both dates but did not specify whether the shows will be rescheduled. The two concerts are part of the North American leg of The Kehlani World Tour, which has been moving through the East Coast this month.

Doing Her Best To Get Back On The Road
“Breaks my heart to have to ever do this,” Kehlani continued. “I do everything I’m supposed to to ensure my health stays up to par & it still isn’t guaranteed.” She did not disclose a diagnosis or provide additional details about what doctors found during the hospital visit.
For now, the interruption appears limited to two dates. Kehlani told fans, “We will pick back up in Virginia,” where the tour is scheduled to continue Saturday (August 29) at Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront in Richmond.
