6ix9ine has been watching the Lil Durk trial closely as he looks to get one over on his former rival. When 6ix9ine went to prison in 2019, Durk was quick to call him a snitch. Now that Durk is on trial, Tekashi is looking for any excuse to call out potential hypocrisy.
On Day 1 of Lil Durk's murder-for-hire trial, it was revealed that OTF Vonni and OTF Jam would be taking the stand for the prosecution. Meanwhile, Durk's defense stated that OTF Vonni was the true mastermind behind the Lul Pab hit.
That last bit is what has ignited a snitching narrative on social media. Personalities like Vlad TV, Trap Lore Ross, and 6ix9ine believe this is proof that Durk is snitching. Tekashi even said so as he went on his Instagram story to admonish Durk.
6ix9ine Antagonizes Lil Durk
Lawyer Bradford Cohen was quick to take to social media with his own view of the situation. Quite simply, he believes the snitching narrative is bogus. He says this because OTF Vonni admitted to arranging everything during his plea deal. Vonni is claiming that he only arranged the hit because Lil Durk allegedly told him to. As Cohen explains, it is not snitching for Durk to then turn around and claim Vonni's story as untrue.
"This @lildurk is getting more and more interesting as non lawyer and jail house lawyers alike give their opinions on the case and what constitutes snitching," Cohen wrote. "When someone takes a plea and admits to arranging everything for a murder then says but lil durk made me do it, its not snitching to say I dont know what this guy is talking about. He admits to setting shit up he admits to arranging it all, and he has the motive to do it."
As this trial progresses, the narratives coming out of the anti-Durk side will only get louder. For people like 6ix9ine, it's not about being factually accurate. Instead, it is about winning a rap beef that most people haven't thought about in years.
