According to XXL, the talented British actor was actually signed to a record deal when he was a teenager, stating "I used to be with the guy who managed Leela James and Lauryn Hill, Pras, the Fugees and all that. I worked out with (Grammy winning producers) Warren Riker and Gordon Williams. I've recorded loads of stuff but it's never been released."
Now, a user on r/hiphopheads has unearthed what is reported to be Tom Hardy's unreleased and unfinished hip-hop album, available for streaming and downloading on Bandcamp here. According to Noisey, Edward Tracy (aka Eddie Too Tall) uploaded the album earlier this month. The project, titled Falling On Your Arse In 1999, finds Hardy rapping under the moniker of Tommy No 1, collaborating with an artist by the name of Eddie Too Tall. The project has a lo-fi, jazzy aesthetic, clocking in at a sizeable eighteen tracks; it's actually kinda fire, especially if you're into raw, underground hip-hop.
