Eminem has had a storied career in the music world. Some would even say that he is the greatest rapper of all time. While this might be a stretch for some, for others, it is the absolute reality.
In recent years, his albums have left a bit to be desired. Fans haven't always resonated with the production choices, as well as some of the lyrical themes. However, there is no denying that Em has a legendary catalog that his fans always go back to.
Now, Eminem finds himself going viral thanks to an old Super Bowl ad he did back in 2011 for Brisk. In this ad, Em appears as himself, stylized as a cartoon stop-motion character. The ad leans into Em's vulgar personality, and the fact that for much of his career, he was not brand-friendly.
There is one two-second section of the ad in which Em takes a swig of Iced Tea and says, "damn, that is pretty good." The clip is now being remixed throughout social media, with many using it as a reaction video.
Eminem Goes Viral
The video is pretty funny, and there have been some unique remixes of it. For instance, in a classic case of misdirection, some have replaced the word "good" with Joe Budden saying "ass."
You never know what is going to go viral on social media these days, and this is yet another example of that. However, this specific clip of Eminem has the perfect conditions for virality. It's loud, quippy, and it features a pop culture figure most people can recognize.
Eminem has not commented on this newfound virality, and we doubt that he will. Either way, it's always fun to see a legend getting the meme treatment.
