Westside Gunn announces a "FLYGOD Is An Awesome God" follow up album.

Westside Gunn is not letting up. The rapper who counts himself a member of the Griselda crew has been on one hell of a run, from back-to-back acclaimed albums to just the other day, a new venture with original film. This afternoon, he's continued his announcements with the reveal that he'll be bringing back FLYGOD Is An Awesome God for a round two.

The first instalment arrived in 2019, post-deal with Eminem's Shady Records. He followed it up with Hitler Wears Hermes 7, and the entire crew capped off 2019 with the formidable WWCD album. That alone may seem like enough for Westside to lay low in 2020, but he hasn't. He dropped off Pray for Paris, which was received extremely well, and now continues the streak with the announcement of FLYGOD Is An Awesome God II.

His announcement appears to be an excited one, as it should be, filled with plenty of capital letters. Westside says, "FLYGOD IS AN AWESOME GOD II 7/3 I guess y’all thought I was playing... The New leader of the CULTURE- FASHION,ART,MUSIC,WRESTLING,FILM. BTW PRAY FOR PARIS is not done I’m still dropping 2more videos, the Movie & the Box CDs I’m just on SHIT!!!!

You'll be able to cop the album on next Friday, July 3rd, as he mentions, which is right in time for the Fourth of July playlists.

There is plenty to look forward if you're a Griselda fan. Stay tuned for the new album.
