Troy Ave says 50 Cent's comments regarding Tony Yayo and Lloyd banks were "wack".
50 Cent has been trolling long before the days of the internet. Almost every interview with the outspoken rapper finds him making a few deliberate statements to get a rise out of someone, often another rapper. His recent comments concerning former G-Unit members Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo were no exception, with the rapper saying that they've come to a point where they've resorted to becoming newcomer Troy Ave's hype men, as they appeared in his video.
In a new interview with the Breakfast Club, Troy Ave directly addressed the comments.
âI think that was wack,â he said. âYou know what I mean? But thatâs they personal issues. I donât be really having an opinion on other peopleâs personal issues. I think it was wack. That is kinda his opinion. That donât make no sense. But I think it was wack. I wouldnât have said that about my people. But I donât know what they got going on. Lloyd Banks definitely in my new video. And I donât feel like they was hype men. I feel like they was doing what you supposed to do.â
The XXL Freshman also spoke on his own interactions with Fif, saying that the rapper showed him love when they met.
âAs far as relationship, I donât really have a relationship with him [50 Cent],â he said. âYou know, I seen him. He gave it up, âYou doing your thing out here. I like how you sound, what you do.â I guess I got his support some type of way. But, I mean, you know how that go. What one man say or do donât hinder on my success. Iâm still doing my thing regardless.
