Travis Scott is bringing "Astroworld" to New Orleans.

Ever since Childish Gambino's mysterious injury a few weeks ago, his upcoming performances have been up in the air. It's been unclear whether or not he would be able to make it to New Orleans' Voodoo festival and unfortunately, some bad news was recently announced by the organizers. The Halloween experience will no longer feature Donald Glover as a performer as he has pulled out due to injury. Instead, Travis Scott is being advertised as a headliner, bringing his Astroworld experience to Nola for Voodoo concertgoers to enjoy.

Gambino suffered a foot injury at the Dallas stop of his This Is America tour and he was forced to cancel or postpone the remaining dates to accommodate his recovery. It was unclear how severe the injury was but it seems to still be bothering him as he's now been replaced for the upcoming Voodoo Music + Arts Festival. The announcement was made on Twitter as Voodoo let their audience know, "Travis Scott is bringing ASTROWORLD to New Orleans & headlining #VoodooFest on Saturday, 10/27. Under doctor's orders Childish Gambino has been advised to continue recovery on his recent tour injury and will be forced to cancel his upcoming performance at the fest this weekend."

The news is unfortunate but it allows New Orleans to experience one of the biggest artists of the entire year. Travis has evolved so much since his first releases, hitting his peak with Astroworld. As for Donald Glover, he intends to get back on tour in December.
