Recording artist Tee Grizzley poses with fans during day one of BETX Live!, presented by Denny's, during the 2017 BET Experience on June 22, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.

Tee Grizzley's gearing up to make a huge splash.

Tee Grizzley's been making major moves for the past year. In less than a year, he released his debut mixtape, a joint project with Lil Durk and released a handful of singles. He's currently on the road with Jeezy as the opener for the "Cold Summer" tour and landed a verse of the Atlanta emcee's latest project. All of this is a lead up to what's to come this year. He's announced his debut album Activated but more recently, he shared the release date on when to expect it.

Tee Grizzley joined us for an exclusive interview recently where he chopped it up about goal setting and shared some great life advice. However, towards the tail end, the rapper gave us an exclusive tidbit on when we could expect his debut album. The rapper revealed that Activated is due out May 11th.

Grizzley's been gearing up for the project to drop for a hot minute. Since the top of the year, he's been going hard with releases including yesterday's, "Don't Even Trip," featuring Moneybagg Yo. He also dropped his "First Day Out" remix with Meek Mill earlier in February. It's likely we'll catch Jeezy on the project as well considering the two have a pretty close relationship aside from music.

Keep your eyes peeled for Tee Grizzley's Activated and watch our interview with him below.
