Smokepurpp remembers XXXTentacion with a throwback photo.

When XXXTentacion passed away four months ago, the hip-hop community was united as we all mourned the loss of one of the most talented up-and-comers. X's music has impacted so many souls as he touched on important issues like depression, suicide, and other topics surrounding mental health. Many spoke out after his murder and the Florida rap community was one of the most vocal. Being a native of the Sunshine State, XXX was close with several of his peers in the budding hip-hop hotbed. Denzel Curry was one of his close allies and his relationship with Ski Mask the Slump God has been heavily documented. Jahseh was also close with Smokepurpp and the Deadstar artist just shared a throwback photo of them to remember their bond.

"I just found this," says Purpp in the caption as he posts an image of X performing while he stands in the background. He writes, "In our hearts forever bro," remembering his friend as comments pour in from fans who feel bittersweet about seeing their idol with a microphone in his hand. Purpp isn't the only artist to recently share their memories with XXXTentacion as Denzel Curry, Ski Mask, and others all sent their love to Jah and his family in the last week.

An unreleased collaboration between Kodak Black and X was teased over the weekend as Sniper Gang is saying that the two worked together prior to his passing. XXX was also featured on Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V.
