The 2019 edition of the Forbes "30 Under 30" list has emerged, and with it brings a variety of hip-hop mainstays. Though many prominent names made the cut, Russ found himself sitting at the top of the list. "I make music and I live my truth," laughs Russ, the official Forbes 2019 "30 Under 30" featured nominee. "That's my elevator pitch." The divisive rapper continues his winning streak, adding an impressive title to his resume, and sharing an inspirational message for aspiring entrepreneurs in the process.

"The word 'realistic' puts these parameters and boundaries into where you can go. I'm not into that," he explains. "You should live limitless. When people say 'that's not realistic,' often times it's them projecting their own fears. Just because it's a dream that hasn't happened yet, there's no results yet, doesn't mean it's unrealistic."

Though the DIY king stood triumphant as Forbes' featured nominee, there were plenty of other musicians holding it down on the list. Post Malone, 21 Savage, Lil Pump, Juice WRLD, Billie Ellish, Jessie Reyez, Bad Bunny, Camila Cabello, Rico Nasty, and more were deemed worthy of inclusion by judges Boi 1da, Marshmello, and Molly DeWolf Swenson.
