We have good news for all you serious Stranger Things fans who possibly believed a rumour going around about the upcoming season three. Reports were circling the web that series creators, The Duffer Brothers, would be leaving the Netflix original after the upcoming season.

It seems as though Moviefone got the lies running after they posted an article titled, "Stranger Things Season 3 Will Be the Duffer Brothers' Last." The publication claimed they got the information from "a source with knowledge of the production."

Netflix and the brothers got word of the 'news' - that would be very tragic to the series going forward - and sent out a tweet saying, "Don't drop your Eggos. Rumors that the Duffer Bros are leaving Stranger Things after season 3 are false."

As for the anticipated season three, executive producer Shawn Levy recently revealed some truth about what we can expect next. he told Glamour Magazine that if they "could make it [return] faster" they would. Shawn also noted that he and the Duffer brothers have all the details set but they don't want to rush things as they're "going to do it right."

"The number of episodes will be dictated by the amount of story that excites us. We now know what is going to happen in season three to every character," he added, detailing how season three will go easy on Will.
