Lil Yachty's "Lil Boat 2" drops in a few weeks.

Lil Yachty has been teasing the sequel to his Lil Boat mixtape for the past few months, first announcing the project back in August to be exact, but after reassuring fans that it was done & coming “super soon” last month, we now have a concrete release date. On Tuesday night, the ATL rapper hopped on Instagram and announced that his anticipated sequel to Lil Boat will be dropping March 9th, which happens to be the same day as its first release, Lil Boat, in 2016.

“March 9th #Lilboat2” he captioned the post along with sharing its artwork of him standing in the sun-setting ocean. Unfortunately, he didn’t reveal any further information about the project, like who'll be on it or what to expect, but Im sure details will be unveiled as we near closer to the March 9th release date.

For those who forgot, this isn’t the only project that Lil Yachty has on the way either. In addition to Lil Boat 2, the ATL rapper is supposedly linking up with Gucci Mane & the Migos for a Glacier Boyz project, along with another collab project with Takeoff. It’s safe to assume both of those projects will be dropping after Lil Boat 2, but just know a ton of new music from Yachty is on the way.

Check out Yachty’s announcement (below) and let us know your thoughts. You excited to hear Lil Boat 2 or nah?
