Looks like we'll be getting some new Lil Uzi Vert at some point this year.

It's been a pretty quiet year for Lil Uzi Vert and fans are eagerly awaiting for the Philly spitter to drop off more music. The rapper's dropped off a handful of guest verses with sprinkles of loose singles floating around the internet. At the beginning of April, the rapper's Instagram page began sharing strange messages but it did reveal that Uzi was currently making some of the best music of his life. It's unsure when we'll be able to hear it but it looks like it'll arrive at some point in 2018.

Don Cannon, who alongside DJ Drama signed Uzi to their label Generation Now, took to Twitter today to reveal that Lil Uzi Vert will have a new project coming out at some point this year. After quoting a fans tweet that listed the many dope albums that have dropped or about to drop, Don Cannon was quick to point out that Uzi was missing from the list. "Don’t forget Uzi," he wrote followed by five devil emojis. He didn't reveal when we could expect it to drop but with summer nearing, maybe we could expect it in the coming months.

It makes sense that he's been grinding on music over the colder months. The rapper is set to join G-Eazy on their co-headlining, "Endless Summer" tour alongside Ty Dolla $ign, YBN Nahmir, P-Lo and Murda Beatz. Hopefully, he'll be premiering new music on that tour.
